Some days I love breaking up with the same old routine and doing something different on the spur of the moment. 🎉🎉
💖 My partner, Pip and I did this recently, jumping on the “CityCat” in nearby Brisbane and exploring the City via the River.
It provided a great shift in improving how I felt. I noticed:
✅ an improvement in my mood.
✅ less hot flushes (yes, lucky me, it’s menopause time).
✅ the enjoyment of being in a new sensory experience.
✅ the heightened and deep sense of calm and relaxation that was very apparent in my system by the end of the day.
✅ the ability to laugh more easily once again.

When was the last time you allowed yourself to get out of the rut and allow yourself to experience something new like this?
I know it’s been a little more challenging during these post covid times, 😩 but there are still ways that we can delight our senses in different ways and give our parasympathetic nervous system (the calming one), a much needed boost.
I also know what it’s like when you’re feeling bogged down with such a long list of draining physical and emotional symptoms 😟 and feel like you don’t have the energy to even consider this, because you’re just trying to get through the day. 😨
It doesn’t have to stay this way, but sometimes we need the help of someone else to shake things up and get the direction of our lives heading in a new direction that really does serve us. I certainly did when I was back on the burnout treadmill.
If you’re ready to make the shift to reclaim your life and your energy, let’s chat.
