I’m sure you have heard this term cortisol flying around the place when it comes to the conversation of stress.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that many of you are confused about what cortisol is exactly and whether it’s something you need to care about.

Oh the irony of it all. I had wanted to write a post on how to relieve stress in just two minutes, to help to bring you back into balance quickly after a stressful event.
Just before I started writing it, I had an awkward exchange with someone that caused my “stress levels” to rise. I felt my blood pressure go up, my heart rate increase and I felt shaken up. My body was basically going into “fight or flight” mode and I needed to quickly do some of these two minute techniques that I’m about to tell you about. I just laughed to myself at the irony.
